April 26: Women's Self Defense and Family Protection Seminar to raise awareness and funds for TESSA.

  • What you will learn:

    • Practical defense against common attacks faced by women included bear hugs, chokes, and grabs​

    • Increased awareness and tactics to keep your children, loved ones and others safe from an attack

May 31: Carjacking Prevention and Defense

  • What you will learn:

    • How to defend yourself while in and out of your vehicle

    • When to exit your vehicle and when to use your vehicle as a barrier

    • Handgun and knife defense that can be used in and out of your vehicle and more

July 19: Bar Fight Defense

  • What you will learn:

    • How to defend yourself should an attack break out in a bar, club, or other public venue

    • How to keep your wits about you, spot exits, move away from danger quickly and defend yourself when visibility is low, communication is limited and stress is high

August (Date TBD): Cell Phone & Kubotan Defense

  • What you will learn:

    • How to use your cell phone as a powerful defensive tool ​

    • How to use a kubotan, a defensive weapon commonly carried on keychains

In the fall, First Strike plans to welcome Alan Predolin back to Colorado Springs for a Master Class. Alan is the founder of 360 Krav Maga Network, a Krav Maga Expert 2 under Eyal Yanilov, a BJJ black belt, and more.
